Who are we?

BERTEN is a privately held company founded by engineers with wide experience in aerospace technology. We provide high-speed electronic products and communication systems for Avionics, Space, Defence, Science, and Unmanned Vehicles.

BERTEN is specialised in advanced electronics, embedded software, FPGA design, signal processing, SDR algorithms, and Wireless Data Links. Standard products include rugged Single Board Computers and advanced Communication Systems for critical applications.

The Team

BERTEN staff is composed of highly motivated engineers, with passion for electronics and signal processing. We continuously innovate to provide state-of-the-art solutions and products, focussing on customer satisfaction while enjoining electronics, technology, and science.

The Founders

Jose

CEO

Jose has more than 15 years of experience working in communication systems, digital electronics, and signal processing. He collaborated with the European Space Agency (ESA) in breakthrough projects related with satellite navigation receivers and integrated navcom solutions. He has been leading the development of advanced electronics for critical systems.

Laura

CTO

Laura has been involved in challenging developments related to airborne communication links, advanced signal processing, and control systems. She is currently focussed on real-time implementation of algorithms in FPGA and SoC-based platforms with demanding signal and power integrity constraints.
